|
IMI’s quality management system
comprises 4 distinct spheres shown below.
|
| |

|
|
The
education of our students is the essence of the
organization. The key aspects of curriculum design, learning and
teaching, assessment, in-training practicals and awards are core
areas which are continually reviewed and developed.
The support services and facilities that are
needed for students to live and learn at IMI are where we focus
our efforts on providing added value and continuous improvement.
The operation of registration, administration, IT provision,
extracurricular functions, counseling, infrastructure, hygiene and
security are regularly measured against control criterion to
ensure that we meet student expectations and where possible,
provide added value.
Our partner schools are our external customers
who need and expect open and regular contact in the provision of
IMI courses around the world. The criteria for selection of
partners and management arrangements to ensure mutual benefits are
vital areas for evaluation to ensure that these organizations
support and participate in IMI’s efforts to support continual
quality improvement.
Finally, management activities support all of the
above processes to ensure everyone’s needs are met. Our
commitment to supporting all staff in career development,
appraisal and development opportunities for advancing their
job-related education, knowledge and understanding are key
criteria in the achievement of our quality goals.
As part of the above, IMI is practices quality assurance and
development appropriate to the following bodies or persons:
- External Examiners
- UK Quality Assurance Agency (QAA)
- Independent Academic Advisor
- Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU)
